Coral calcium is much more than just a source of calcium. It is a holistic mineral supplement that is rich in calcium and magnesium, it also contains more than 70 other trace minerals that may be of value for general health.

If your pH is 7.5, your body fluids are in the healthy range, meaning that you are not mineral deficient at the present time.
If your pH is between 6.0 and 6.5, you are becoming acidic and therefore developing one or more of the 150 degenerative diseases including the big "C", cancer.
If your pH is below 6.0 , then you are highly acidic, very mineral deficient, and may have contracted at least one degenerative disease.

Coral calcium benefits the body by being promptly bio available to the cells. It becomes ionic in water. It is scientifically documented that up to 150 diseases are related to calcium deficiency.
Research has shown a role for certain ratios of coral calcium and magnesium in coral calcium to help control hormone release, especially in relationship to the hormone insulin. This may be one of the reasons why some people have produced testimonials on the improvement of their blood sugar levels while taking coral calcium, although these matters have not been defined in controlled clinical trials.

Coral calcium also increases the oxygen level in the body, thereby allowing the body to rid itself of toxic waste that continues to build up which keeps you from getting tumors in your large intestine.
Scientists have also found that over 150 degenerative diseases are linked to Calcium Deficiency - including cancer, diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, gall and kidney stones, and lets throw tooth decay in there also plus many more. Calcium supplements could play a role in lowering blood cholesterol and lowering blood pressure to a small degree and also assisting with weight control. Your body requires calcium … and if it doesn't get it from your diet, it will steal it from your bones, putting you at risk for osteoporosis.

An adequate daily intake of coral calcium benefits us (1,000-1,500 mg) along with magnesium and potassium by working to control blood pressure by helping to regulate the amount of sodium your body retains.

Side Effects:
Higher doses of calcium are not better, and in fact the unnecessary calcium is not utilized by the body. Taking too much coral calcium (three to four times the usual dose) can lead to such side effects as constipation, dry mouth, a continuing headache, increased thirst, irritability, loss of appetite, depression, a metallic taste in the mouth, and fatigue.
A normal daily intake of calcium (1,000-1,500 mg) along with magnesium and potassium is all that is needed to experience the healthful benefits of providing the body with adequate calcium.
There is also a known cause and effect relationship for some individuals taking coral calcium whereby coral calium alkalizes the body's fluids, resulting in the toxins, which are adhered to the cell surface, detaching themselves and entering the blood. The body will recognize the toxins as foreign invaders and respond by attacking them possibly causing flu-like symptoms like headaches, stomach aches and diarrhea. This is called "detoxing" and it means that the body is ridding itself of cancer inducing compounds.

Aluminum and coral calcium:
Postmortem examinations of Alzheimer's patients brains found traces of aluminum, but subsequent studies are contradictory. Some studies have found higher than normal amounts of aluminum while others haven't. A number of studies have even found that groups of people exposed to high levels of aluminum do not have an increased risk of Alzheimer's disease.
As far as cooking pots and pans are concerned, it is generally advised not to have aluminum utensils in contact with food during cooking, not out of any concern about the risk of Alzheimer's' but instead because of evidence that ingesting aluminum can be harmful to the kidneys and may weaken bones by depleting the body of phosphorus and calcium. If you are cooking in aluminum, the main danger is cooking acidic liquids such as tomato sauce. In that case, aluminum will dissolve in the food and get in your body.
There's also no reason to avoid aluminum foil. Food cooked on foil simply doesn't absorb aluminum as acidic foods do.
Average human intake is relatively low; between 30 and 50 mg per day, according to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, primarily from foods and drinking water. Of that, it's estimated we absorb less than 1 percent of the aluminum we swallow.
Common food additives containing aluminum compounds, such as baking powder, are major contributors of dietary aluminum, and many pickle manufacturers use an aluminum derivative, alum, for crispness.
People who eat antacids regularly can get big doses of aluminum from those products. Some brands of buffered aspirin also contain this metal, so be sure to check labels when buying any of these products in order to avoid consuming extra aluminum.
Coral calcium contains only the naturally occurring trace quantities of this element.

Coral Calcium and Kidney Stones:
Calcium itself isn't a problem as far as kidney stones are concerned. In fact, studies have shown that the more calcium-containing foods you eat, the lower your risk of kidney stones.
In normal doses it probably would be fine to take coral calcium supplements without concern of kidney stones in order to reduce your risk of bone thinning as long as you take them with lunch and dinner and follow some simple dietary suggestions that will help reduce your risk of kidney stone formation. Kidney stones form when urine becomes highly concentrated and the calcium oxalate it contains crystallizes (both the calcium and the oxalate come from the diet). The resulting stones then pass out of the body but en route can cause severe pain (usually in the lower back, flank and groin), difficulty urinating, blood in the urine, nausea and sometimes fever.
The best way to avoid kidney stones is to drink lots of water, at least six to eight glasses daily. The water dilutes the urine, reducing the risk of crystallization. You also should avoid food containing oxalate, unless you also take calcium in food or supplement form so that the calcium will bind with the oxalate making it less likely to be absorbed by the body and cause oxalate kidney stones. Foods high in oxalate include spinach, beet greens, nuts, chocolate, and strawberries.
Coral calcium itself isn't a problem as far as kidney stones are concerned. Researchers believe that calcium binds with oxalate in the intestine which cannot absorb the combination. The calcium oxalate then is eliminated with fecal matter. This lowers the amount of calcium and oxalate your body otherwise would have to eliminate in urine and prevents crystallization of calcium oxalate in the kidneys.
If you have a history of kidney stones, be sure to drink lots of water, avoid caffeine which seems to increase urinary calcium, decrease intake of animal protein which increases the risk of stone formation, limit your salt intake (salt increases urinary calcium excretion), consume potassium and bran fiber in foods, because both can reduce urinary levels of calcium.
